The Central Music Awards nominee and a teacher by profession, Ekow Marvel, has remarked that combining music and work has never been easy especially when you have limited pace to both.
Speaking to Cape360gh.com, he narrated his ordeal of not having full support from work.
There were times he was reported to his supervisors even though he did his duty in the school as a teacher and never used instructional hours for his personal activities.
When asked how he manages both careers, this is what he had to say.
He also annotated that he sometimes arranges the students for early morning and evening classes in order to cover most of the topics for the term.
The ‘marvelous’ Ekow Marvel has earned two nominations at this year’s Central Music Awards; Best Male Vocalist and Best Music Video of the year.
His current song which is receiving massive airplay and has earned him stage performances in Ghana is Bosoe, a project put together by a record label, Legendary Recordz.
‘Carry Me Go’’ amongst other hit songs like D) Me, Taste, Daben and other collaborations with top artistes from Central Region paved way for this upcoming artist into the music scene in the country.
His quest to produce quality music that will penetrate the music market has steered his mind from doing just any music which others may refer to as quantity.

‘Promoting good music in this country has never been easy so I make sure I cook every music I need to put out there with sweet and need ingredient in order to earn the maximum support from the industry players, the fans and the world at large if there isn’t enough funds to push. – he said.
Ekow Marvel who hopes to grab his first award in this year’s CMA pleaded with his fans to do well to cast their votes in for him to win both awards. Fans may text 2EKOW and VEKOW for Best Music Video Award of the year and Best Male Vocalist of the year respectively.
