The Cape Coast Metropolitan Chief Executive, Mr Ernest Arthur, will leave the country on Monday, 30th October, 2017 to join a delegation from the Central Region to the United States of America for an Investments and Promotional Tour put together by the Cape Coast Metro Investments Desk.
Whilst there, the MCE will make a presentation on “Cape Coast Tourism and Development Initiative” to students of Fordham University at the Flom Auditorium. At end of the presentation, there will be an announcement of the creation of a cultural and academic partnership between the Bronx and the City of Cape Coast.
The MCE is expected to sign Sister City Agreements with the Cities of Bronx and Rochester, all in New York. Hon. Ernest Arthur will also hold meetings with the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Washington based Black Chamber of Commerce on investment opportunities in Cape Coast.
The Central Regional Minister, Hon. Kwamena Duncan is expected to lead the delegation. He will be accompanied by the President of the Oguaa Traditional Council, Osaberima Kwesi Atta II, the District Chief Executive for Gomoa West, Hon. Bismark Baisie Nkum and Kojo Ampah, a former student of Fordham University, a businessman and a native of Cape Coast.
